Fish remains to be a dominant source of nutrition for the people in countries in West Africa. Stallion has an integrated fish farming company comprising of fish hatcheries, nurseries, grow out ponds & cages, fish processing facilities and cold rooms. It works towards adequacy of fish in the regional water and promotes local aqua farming to attain self sufficiency in protein based food. Stallion is the largest producer of Tilapia in Nigeria and awarded the title of Best Fish Farmer of the Year in 2016, 2017 & 2018 for the investments and achievements in aquaculture.

To support the demand deficit Stallion has been in the forefront to import the best quality of frozen fish into the region like Herring, Horse Mackerel, Mackerel, Croaker, Sardinella, Blue Whiting etc from Europe, Asia and other parts of Africa.

To complement the investment in fish farming and processing, we have one of the largest cold chain facilities in the country spread across major markets such as Lagos, Warri, Benin, Kaduna, Jos, Ilorin and Port Harcourt. The total storage capacity of our cold rooms is approximately 100,000 MT which is one of the largest in whole Africa. These facilities can be used for storage of fish as well as other perishable agricultural produce.

We have made most of these investment in rural areas which has been generating sustainable employment for rural youth and women.
