VON Automobiles Nig. Limited, a member of the Stallion Group of Companies and runs a car assembly facility with an annual installed capacity of 200,000. Stallion invested in the auto sector when it took over the moribund facility formerly used by Volkswagen of Nigeria and its Germany partners on the Badagry Seme Expressway in Lagos.
Stallion has commissioned an ultra modern vehicle assembly plant in Lagos, Nigeria. The plant is equipped with the latest machinery and tools to be able to assemble a range of branded passenger vehicles with the highest quality standards. It has tied up with global auto majors seeking a strategic advantage in the competitive regional market to assemble their products at the plant that are best suited to the road severity of West Africa.
The plant has the ability to produce City Buses, Pick Ups, Trucks and other similar vehicles, replacing import of fully built up vehicles.
The facility also includes training and maintenance facilities and aims to complement the federal government’s efforts to enhance public transportation systems in Nigeria through it BRT scheme.
The company is currently planning to expand the successful set up of additional showroom and state of the art workshop and a service centre at Takoradi.
